DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are funded by gifts from alumni and friends of the department, as well as through a number of other associations and organizations. You may be eligible to receive one of the following scholarships.

Accenture Endowed Scholarship

  • Preference is given to students in the business and information technology department.
  • Interested applicants must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), qualifying in the high-need category $40,000 or less family/students combined adjusted gross income.
  • No need to apply: This award is automatically matched to your account based on whether you have met certain criteria.

Arlan DeKock Scholarship for Excellence

  • This scholarship is awarded to a freshman from Missouri, and continues for eight semesters (unless they switch majors outside of our department).
  • Interested applicants must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), qualifying in the high-need category $40,000 or less family/students combined adjusted gross income.

CenturyLink Scholarship

  •  You must be a student pursuing a degree in education, engineering, science/environment, business/economics, marketing, or math/computer technology to be eligible for this award.
  • A minimum of a 3.0 grade point average is required, along with a letter of reference from the applicant’s high school counselor or college/university advisor.
  • Available only to graduating high school seniors or spouses of military veterans or someone already enrolled at S&T, and living in the CenturyLink service area.
  • Recipients must agree to have their name publicized as a CenturyLink Missouri S&T Scholar.

Investment Realty, Inc Scholarship

  • You must be an undergraduate student in the business and information technology department to be eligible for this award.
  • This award is contingent on receiving annual funding each year.

Max C. Weiner Endowed Scholarship

  • You must be an undergraduate student in the business and information technology department to be eligible for this award.
  • Selection of recipients will be made by the Business and Information Technology Student Affairs Committee.

CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLARSHIP

The Chancellor’s Scholarship has been awarded to more than 375 students representing virtually every major field of study. This highly competitive scholarship of $12,000 per year will be awarded to 15 students. This would be a revised scholarship offer and would supersede any other offer that was provided by the Admissions Office. This is a four-year package renewable with a cumulative grade point average of 3.25.
