As one of the three founding departments of the new Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, the Department of Business and Information Technology (BIT) is at the crossroads of business and technology preparing our students to hit the ground running in tech-focused companies and global companies looking to stay on the forefront of business innovation.  Our programs are AACSB accredited and we are proud say that our undergraduate students are earning on average 45% more than recent business graduates in the state of Missouri (based on 2020 data from COER and zippia.com).  Our faculty have recent articles in top quality journals, such as MIS Quarterly and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
